While some Opponauts are still recovering from the Thanksgiving diet, in Puerto Rico we can't get a break. From the first week of December till the second week of January, co-workers, friends and family start giving gifts between each other the culinary way with traditional beverages and desserts, just to celebrate the spirit of Christmas and the Three Kings. Case in point: An hour ago I open my fridge and I see two !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . One is the traditional taste, while the other has crumbles of pistachio mixed in. The traditional taste is very sweet because of the coconut cream, coconut milk, sweet condensed milk, cinnamon, nutmeg, egg yolk and rum they cram inside that bottle. But this pistachio flavor takes the cake. Is a little bit less intense in sweetness with a touch of pistachy flavor at the end.

I'm going to try to control myself... We aren't halfway through December, and the Sugar Rush is just beginning. The peak of this food war is on the 24th, 25th, 31st of December and the 1st, 5th and 6th of January. May the fat have mercy on my stomach.
